Hundreds of years ago, Ferenc Dávid, also known as Francis David, was reported to have said these words. He was a Unitarian preacher from Transylvania, the founder of the Unitarian Church of Transylvania, and the leading figure of the Protestant Reformation.

In the 1500’s, Francis David disputed the Christian view of the Holy Trinity, believing God to be one and indivisible.
