The Gift of Pluralism

Join Rev. Becker (Snowdancer) leading us in the exploration of The Gift of Pluralism: Being in touch with Self in Difficult Times

UUs have proposed new language for the shared value of pluralism: “We celebrate that we are all sacred beings, diverse in culture, experience, and theology. We covenant to learn from one another in our free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We embrace our differences and commonalities with Love, curiosity, and respect.”

Part of the social justice work we are about engages us in the many “storms of life.” These might be high anxiety and stress moments generated by world challenges; such as war, conflict, genocide, changing power structures. This may involve some very personal losses we might have had recently.

This Sunday, Bethany Philipp will lead us in creating dance movement that will help us with our collective grief and grieving for these difficult times.
