In our congregation, major decisions, such as approving our bylaws or selecting leaders, are made by the congregation as a whole. All voting members are expected to attend.
UUCJ holds two biannual congregational meetings per year, one in the spring and another in the fall.
During the Spring Biannual meeting, the congregation elects Board of Trustees officers and team, council, and taskforce members and considers any proposed Bylaws revisions.
This Sunday we will be voting for the following positions:
- Board President (to serve July 2026-June 2028)
- Board President-Elect (to serve July 2026-June 2029)
- Board Secretary (to serve July 2026-June 2028)
- Board 2nd Trustee (to serve July 2026-June 2028)
- Calm Council – 3 non-Board members (to serve July 2026-June 2027)
- Leadership Development – 1 non-Board member (to serve July 2026-June 2029)
