Renewal is a Thing With Feathers

Life is spun by opposing forces. We are made by pressure. It is no surprise that children are brought into this world through the pain of their mother and the first sound any child makes is a cry. The phoenix, a bird that lives in our collective unconscious, reminds us life is a cycle of birth, death, and rebirth–an unending circle where pressure is applied to bring forth cries of sorrow and joy. No good thing ever came without cost, without pressure. Thus, renewal is born of that pressure. It is the rise, the rebirth, the force that prepares us to move forward.

This Sunday Rev. Justin McCreary and Patricia Ice will bring a message about renewing our faith.
