In the context of the current crisis in leadership in the UUA, join us as we continue our discussion of leadership at UUCJ and how our Unitarian Universalist Principles inform our views. We will examine our understanding of power in relationships, our beliefs about adaptive leadership, and how we can dismantle white supremacy culture.
Join us for a cup of coffee, a snack, and conversations!
Sometimes I hear people say, “We just don’t talk anymore”. If we’re not careful we can feel as if we are all strangers, in our homes, with our friends, and even when we look in the mirror. Over time it’s as if we started speaking different languages. It is easy in the current climate to feel isolated, alone, and in the dark. How do we find connection and what does it take to learn to speak the same language again?
Note: The Chalice Children and UU Kids will join the congregation for the beginning of the service for the chalice lighting, song, collection, joys and concerns, and a Story for All Ages.
