July 10th is Global Circle Dance Day, and Snowdancer has a message to share about the Radical Faerie movement. What better time to come together–whatever your gender and however you express–it to dance!
Our good friends at Wikipedia write “Non-binary[a] or genderqueer is an umbrella term for gender identities that are not solely male or female—identities that are outside the gender binary.”
So come expressing all sides of your gender, whether non-binary/genderqueer or not. We will dance to celebrate our differences! Come as the person you feel you are or step outside of what you were ever told was maleness or femaleness. Be proud, free, and ready to dance with this community!
We will do traditional global circle dances and a memorial dance for Ukraine. Be prepared to move as you are able or just to enjoy the spirit of the moment this Sunday.
Bring snacks to share as we work up an appetite dancing!
