Faith@Home: Reflecting on Jubilee

There is no doubt we are facing difficult times! Many in our community are struggling. Some struggle because they are alone, other’s because they are called to work through the pandemic, and still others because they fear for their own safety. This Sunday I will reflect on theological ideas that can guide us through this crisis. As I reflect on my Unitarian Universalist faith, what keeps coming to mind is our seventh principle, respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. That principle is embodied in the work we are doing to help flatten the curve. Whether you are staying home or working because you are essential, you are performing a holy act.

NOTE: The service will be streamed via Facebook on the UUJackson group and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jackson pages. An in-person meeting will NOT be held at the church.
