Chaos or Community: How Do We Continue to Awaken to the Times We Are In?

Rev. Gail Stratton

Please see our policy for in person attendance.

“Where do we go from here? Chaos or Community.” This is the title of Martin Luther King’s last book, published in 1968. Though written so many years ago, the message of this book is timely. What can we learn from Martin Luther King Jr, that is helpful for now? What can we learn from his actions as well as his words? This is certain: we need to be awake and we need to be bold!

Rev. Dr. Gail Stratton is a Unitarian Universalist Community Minister affiliated with the UU Congregation of Oxford, a long time resident of Mississippi, and a former Biology Instructor. She seeks to grow in loving the world and living her values of acknowledging our connections with each other and our complete dependence on the natural world. As a stubborn optimist, she knows we can do a better job of loving the hell out of this country.
