9:30 a.m. — Adult RE: What We Choose: Ethics for Unitarian Universalists – Session 4: Cultivating a Virtuous Character

This is the fourth of a ten-session intermediary course designed for UUs seeking to follow a faith of deeds, not creeds, by focusing on the moral and ethical questions that arise in life and explore ethical frameworks to help sort through a dilemma. In this session, we will examine the life of Mahatma Gandhi and the importance of a life of virtue to guide actions.

10:30 a.m. — Coffee Fellowship: Hospitality Team – TBD

11:00 a.m. – Service: Chasing Gratitude: We are the Grateful Dead – led by Rev. Justin McCreary

Many people throughout the month of November share daily on social media something for which they are thankful. I don’t know where this practice started, and though I do not take part, I appreciate reading daily, the things for which my friends are grateful. Sunday, I will express gratitude in my favorite way… Preaching about it.
