There are beginnings and there are endings. This is such a time for endings. My first time with the UU Church of Jackson was in 1995. I had founded Safe Harbor Family Church, and as I came to the end of my time with them, I moved into something new. My first steps through the doors here were very tentative. The church was extremely humanist and quite insular within its small clique.
Over the years, I’ve stepped into and out of ministry here. After many years of volunteer ministry, I was accepted as the official minister. But now, as I step into new horizons, I say goodbye to the UU Church of Jackson.
Please join me as I reminisce and bring some closing thoughts to my time here.
