10:30 a.m. – Coffee Fellowship: Hospitality Team – TBD

11:00 a.m. – Service: Ain’t No Grave: Can’t Hold My Body Down – led by Rev. Justin McCreary

As Unitarian Universalists we often find ourselves at the forefront of social justice work in our communities. Our membership, though small, reaches to all the corners of Mississippi working to make positive change. Sometimes that puts us in uncomfortable situations; sometimes we’re in situations well beyond uncomfortable and even heartbreaking. It truly is a gritty work, but we UUs have to have the grit to persevere!

11:00 a.m. – Religious Exploration:

  • Chalice Children (ages 3-6): Love Surrounds Us – Session 4: Forgiveness – focusing on our second principle of being kind and fair to others, we will explore the need to forgive and be forgiven
  • U.U. Kids (ages 7-12): UU Faith – Unity: exploration of the evolution of our UU Faith with a story about 16th century challengers to the idea of the trinity
  • YUUth (ages 13-17): Cosmos – Episode 13: Unafraid of the Dark – explore the mysteries of dark energy and dark matter
