Reddit, Robinhood, and Wall Street: Ethical Limitations of the American System

The Beloved Community as a concept is a driving factor for equity and justice. As a Unitarian Universalist, I understand we will never get to a place where humans can finally say, “We have arrived.” Instead, I believe the Beloved Community is a direction.

I may not know what the Beloved Community is, but I know what it isn’t! My sermon won’t explore the Beloved Community, but rather why American Democracy is not it. Let me give you a hint–economics.
