“Ouch,” “Sorry,” “Help.”

“Ouch,” “Sorry,” “Help.” I have found these three simple words to be helpful in this time of difficulty, loss and change that we are all in. When someone says “ouch” either directly or indirectly, it is not always obvious what is hurting. Slowly, oh so slowly I am learning to be curious. Rev. Gail Stratton is a Unitarian Universalist Community Minister, who is affiliated with the UU Congregation of Oxford, MS. Gail received her M.Div. from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2016 and that same year was ordained by her home congregation. She served as a Ministerial Intern at the UU Church of Birmingham.
