Internet Privacy Policy of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jackson The
first principle of the member societies of the Unitarian Universalist
Association is that we will covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth
and dignity of every person. We believe that this principle impels us to protect
the privacy of visitors to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jackson website
(UUJackson.org) as well as that of our Church members, friends, and visitors. Use
By Children
If
you are under 13, be sure to obtain your parent's or guardian's permission
before you send any personal information (for example, your name, address,
e-mail address, etc.) to us or anyone else over the Internet. We encourage
parents to get involved with their children's online usage and to be aware of

We only collect personal
information from our visitors on a voluntary basis. Personal information may
include name, address, phone number, and email address. We do not require this
information to obtain access to any part of our site. We use this personal information
only to process requests that have been placed by the visitor. Examples are:
requests for more information about our church, requests for a church
NUUSletter, or entries into the visitor’s book. We do not sell, rent, or give any
personal information to other organizations. We do not use cookies on our site. Use
of Photos
We believe that the use of images
of church activities and events is a valuable tool in creating an attractive,
accurate and relevant on-line representation of the Unitarian Universalist
Church of Jackson (UUCJ) and its activities. Therefore, we may occasionally
include photographs taken by members of church activities on our website. In order to protect the privacy of
UUCJ members and friends, we generally do not provide personal identification
information along with photographs. In cases where identification is warranted,
it will only be included with the permission of the person or parent of the
person being photographed. If you see a photograph of yourself
or your child that you prefer not to be included on the site, or if you would
like to insure that no photo of your child is used on the site, feel free to contact
the webmistress. We'll make the necessary arrangements to comply with your
request. All copyrights remain with the
original photographer. Effort is made to include credit to the photographer if
known. Use
of Names
Occasionally the names of members
and friends are mentioned on the website, particularly in articles from the
NUUSletter. In order to protect the privacy of these individuals, personal
identification information, such as phone number, address, or email will not be
included with these names without explicit permission. Links

hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. UUJackson.org does not control
